Playing it safe always hurts in the long run, those who try new things thus taking risks in the process are the ones that get ahead.
That’s too true, Ash! As long as those risks are measured, this is the time to get in
I am mounting an active campaign to start researching full-time what AI could do for my employer. Loads of ideas, but they have an ostrich policy. I want so badly for us not to be one of the casualties who adopted too late. Here is hoping.
As an IT consultant for digitalization, I recommend you ask them the following questions:
1. Do they have duplicated manual work across the company?
2. Do they need to increase efficiency in some specific processes?
3. Are all processes clearly documented?
AI is not only ChatGPT, but tools like the Microsoft Power Platform, or tools like Zapier, etc.
Bringing someone from outside also helps, because they have no involvement in the internal politics.
